This is one of my favourate poems by faiz….Sadly you don’t get these lyrics online. So I am posting it here
Yeh jafa-e-gham ka chara, woh najaat-e-dil ka aalam
Tera husn dast-e-iisa, teri yaad ruuh-e-mariyam
Dil-o-jaan fidaayen raahen, kabhi aa key dekh humdum
Sar kuu-e-dil figaaran, shab-e-aarzuu ka aalam
Teri deed se sivaa hain, terey shauq mey baharaan
Who chaman jahan giri hai, terey gesuuon ki shabnam
Lo suuni gayi hamari, yun firey hain din ki fir sey

Apne 14th floor apartment se neche jhaank kar dekho, zameen par ek chehra nazar aayega..wo kahin hashiye par sarka hua..alagthalag, chamadi par chipkay astitva ki ladai ke bakaya nishaan un paibandon se chupa raha hoga jo purane wale master sahab ke blackboard duster se bhi jyada tar dar hain...lekin tum door, beech main 13 manzilon ka faasla..oonchae se vaise bhi neche ki cheezain nazar nahin aatee.
ak(h)toron ke saath chamakti hue battisi ka muzahira karte hue, nukkad wale dadaji ke paandhele se udhari main liyee vimal ke avshesh apni maoujoodagi ka parsham lahra gaye...marhoom vimal ki kabr par fatiya na padha, uski amanat ki bepardagi ki sare-raho-alam..

what i really like abt this is the glossary....
Thanks you people....Shadows the glossary is no big deal, its just a language. But what those words mean is everything. Sadly this can't be achieved in a language like english or hindi and is limited to persian or urdu. But still each has its own beauty.
